– The Wrestling Observer newsletter reported that the former Julie Drozdov, Shannon Moore’s girlfriend and a wardrobe employee of WWE, was begging Johnny Ace to rehire Moore, and took her case to Vince directly, using his win over AJ Styles as a reason. Jeff Jarrett was upset, as he pushed for Shannon to work TNA due to his relationship with Drozdov, who makes his outfits. Terry Taylor was initially the scapegoat the the Shannon Moore debacle, as he’s had talent relations duties with TNA. JJ had asked him if he signed with WWE, and he denied it.
– Goldberg’s wife is due to give birth within the next month or so. There was talk of bringing him into TNA for Lockdown, and he strongly considered doing so if for no other reason than to stick it to Vince, but he feels he’s worth more than TNA’s able to pay. Tag team and singles programs for him should he come to TNA down the road have been discussed, with an angle vs. Samoa Joe even hinted at on the air.
– Johnny Valiant (Thomas Sullivan) has had a role on The Sopranos as Phil Leotardo’s bodyguard. Kimberly and Brianna Laughlin – Tommy Dreamer and Beulah’s twin daughters – were also on the show as a daughter. Beulah might have also been in the background of a scene early in the season.
