Mr. Jack Bauer has sure got himself into another tight situation. Sure he has the evidence but he is stuck on an airplane and President Logan has fighter jets ready to take the plane out.
There seems to be some hints that Vladimir Bierko makes a reappearance.
There are only 2 more weeks of ’24’ after this one. The two-hour finale is scheduled for May 22. It will be interesting to see how they can end what has arguably been one of the best seasons of ’24’

Rob Purchase has joined me once again and things are just about to get going after another waste of two minutes of show time with a “Previously On.”
Rob: How do you think this is going to end?
Romo: I don’t know to be honest.
Rob: I can’t see how they can keep Logan on as a character after this.
Romo: Yeah Logan is gone one way or another.

Jack and the pilot discuss the flight pattern. The pilot bitches about his nose getting broken. Jack sets him straight.
Rob: Yeah you pussy!
Jack talks to Karen and Bill at CTU. Bill says they will send a team to pick him up at the airport. Karen tells Bill that Audrey will be ok.
Curtis comes in and tells Audrey that her father survived the crash.
Romo: HAHAHA!!
Rob: Its his leathery skin. It formed a protective barrier around his organs. I cant believe that spoiler came true. Boourns!!
Karen updates Curtis on what Jack is up to on the airplane. She wants Curtis to take Jack into protective custody.
Romo: I am still shocked they brought back Heller. I bet he will be the next President now.
Romano (not real name still don’t know it) called Logan and gives him a plan to take down the airplane by faking a distress signal. Logan says he cant believe it came to this. Romano reminds Logan of the consequences if the evidence gets out.
Bill and Karen discuss on what they need to get done but Perv comes over and interrupts. He is suspicious.
Rob: You are out of the loop.
Mike Novick comes in and tells Logan that a distress code has come in. The code indicates the plan has been taken over to be used to fly into sensitive targets.
Rob: Ooh”¦9/11 styles.
Logan talks to some armed forces guy who got the signal. And he asks the Admiral what to do. The Admiral says they have to shoot down the plane. Logan is play acting very well.
Novick interjects and says he doesn’t think Bauer would hurt innocent civilians. The Admiral says they don’t have the time to find out what Bauer is doing.
The Admiral says they need to take the plane out now while its over the desert. Logan authorizes the Admiral’s plan. Novick tries to stop him but Logan wont listen.
Karen and Bill gives Jack a call and tells him about the distress signal and an F-18 has been sent to intercept.
Jack tells the pilot they need to land and that an F-18 is on its way.
Jack asks Bill for a stretch of highway of 5000 feet to land the plane. The pilot says he cant do it. Jack says there will be no cars on the highway. He takes the empty pilots seat, vacated by the pilot who died earlier.
Rob: Yeah he is jumping in the pilots seat. The only way this can get better is if he lands the plane by himself.
Romo: And shoots the pilot.

Rob and I discuss the upcoming ‘The DaVinci Code’ book and movie. Rob isn’t sure he wants to see it, I think the movie will suck.

Perv and his associated are confused to see Chloe at CTU.
Chloe gets an update Jack’s situation by Bill and Karen.
Rob: Chloe should be the highest paid employee at CTU by a factor of five.
Romo: Actually Jack should get paid the most.
Rob: No way. If it wasn’t for Chloe he would have died 10 times by now.
Bill tells Jack they have stretch of highway of 4000 meters, 1000 short. The pilot says he cant do it, Jack says he will do it then.
Logan gets patched into the pilot of the F-18.
Chloe has the plot of the F-18, who is now within 15 miles.
Jack tells the pilot to descend quicker or they will get shot down. The plane starts to dip fast and the passengers scream.
The pilot insists on pulling up, saying the aircraft cant take it. Jack”¦”NOT YET”
Jack spots the freeway and orders the pilot to level out but he cant do it. He needs Jacks help.
Romo: ofcourse he needs Jack’s help.
The F-18 pilot tells Logan he thinks the plane may be trying to land.
The landing gear is lowered despite going way too fast according to the pilot
Chloe says the aircraft is
The Admiral says the situation has changed since its landing. Logan wants it shot down. Novick screams for him not to do it. Logan agrees to abort.
Jack says 500 feet the pilot says they aren’t going to make it.
Curtis sees the plane, he is on his way.
Jack screams at the pilot to touch it down.
The F-18 flys away after seeing the plane land.
The plane is getting close to the overpass”¦..
It stops feet in front of it.
Bill tells Jack that Curtis is on his way.
Rob: Not even a thank you for the pilot.
Jack makes his way out of the plane, jumping on the wing and then onto the ground. He sprints away.
Romo: It would have been so much better had they crashed into the overpass

Romano yells at Logan that he should have shot down the plane. Logan says he ordered two marine battalions to secure off the area. His name is Graham.
Rob: I like Romano better, just like Rudy.
Jack makes a call to Curtis, there are trying to set up a meeting spot.
Cops are all around.
Jack runs over to Curtis and gets in the car. They drive off.
They run into a blockade of Marine Humvees. They order Curtis’s hands up. He shows his credentials. He says “we are all on the same team” and says he is looking for Bauer as well and says he is moving out.
Curtis is allowed to pass.
Romo: Nice work Curtis.
Rob: As if they wouldn’t search the vehicle. Curtis used some Jedi mind trick on him.
Curtis and Jack call Bill to give him an update.
Perv calls Karen and demands to know whats going on. He threatens to find the answers somewhere else. Karen insists that he has been nothing by loyal.
Rob: He is gonna f*ck them over. Or he will confide in Novick.
Perv says he is upset at being shut out and doesn’t deserve this. She says no he doesn’t and tells him to come with her. She takes him to a dark corridor where she tells him about the evidence against Logan. She tells Perv about how Logan has been acting sketchy. Perv is pissed she hasn’t actually heard the evidence.
He asks what is she going to do if Jack does have the evidence. They get interrupted saying they are going to move Bierko.
Perv asks what she needs. She says the best way he can help is to keep things going smoothly.
Rob: This is what happens when you hire a f*cking pervert.
Bierko is strolled through CTU.
Romo: He looks f*cked up.
Karen tells Bierko he is being transferred to district headquarters.
They head out of CTU with Bierko in cuffs.
He is put in the back of a van by armed CTU guys.
Rob: What the hell happened to Henderson?
Romo: Good point.
The van drives off.

Logan screams at someone for Novick.
Novick comes in. He tells him that the marines have not found Logan. That he got out of the perimeter. Logan “I cant believe this.”
Novick insists that Bauer will be arrested in a matter of time.
Logan goes into a trance, concerning Novick who asks if he is alright. Logan says he needs some time alone now.
Romo: He is gonna kill himself.
Rob: That would be bitchin!!
Romo: Get Martha’s pills!!!
Logan gets a call”¦he isn’t answering”¦
Rob: Turn those happy pills into really happy pills!!
The phone continues to ring”¦. And ring”¦.
Back at CTU Jack is already back.
Curtis is the fastest driver ever, watch out F-1 circuit. Jack says he wants to talk to Audrey. Audrey is on the phone checking on hubby”¦.she sees Jack”¦.and
Rob: Suddenly daddy isn’t so important.
She says she is really glad to see her.
Rob: Hurry up we only have 10 minutes.
Jack says they did it, they have the evidence. Audrey says its over.
Romo: No its not there are still 3 more episodes.
Rob: You think in all of this Logan would have called in the Chinese.
Jack and Audrey share another moment of annoying Romance.
Logan stares off into lala land”¦He takes a wooden box”¦.sits down.
He makes a call to Graham who says he was trying to reach him. Graham is pissed. He says the Attorney General got a call from CTU.
Graham says Charles doesn’t deserve this. Logan says he still believes he was in the right and in the best interest of the country. Graham says the country seeing a President on trial would devastate the country. Graham says if only they could stop that trial”¦Logan agrees and says he assured Graham and his associated wont be implicated. He has nothing else to say and he will hang up now.
He opens the box”¦and it’s a fun. He takes out the clip, checks it and puts it back in.

Rob: If he kills himself now, what else can they do?
Romo: Bierko. He is going to say something. Or the Chinese chasing Jack.
Rob: I think if they were going to bring that up it would have happened already.
Romo: How great would it be with Curtis, Chloe and Bill trying to rescue Jack from China.
Rob: I think they need to totally change the dynamics of the show. They are kinda doing that with the shutdown of CTU.

Logan knocks on Martha’s door and asks to come in. She asks what does he want?
She is sprawled on a couch and asks if he has something else to confess?
He sits beside her and apologizes for everything.
Romo: She is too drugged up to care.
Martha isn’t accepting it, Logan says he cant live with the fact her hurt her. It’s the last thing he wanted to do. He pleads with her”¦.That’s the truth he says.
The truth”¦Martha responds”¦What really gets her is that he had her going for so long. She never knew how good of a liar he is. She said if she wasn’t married to him she might be impressed.
Romo: Logan is dumbfounded again.
Logan gets up and walks out of the room”¦and closes the door.
He walks back down the hallway back to his study area.
He goes to his desk”¦.
Romo: Do it Logan..DO IT!!
Rob: Be a man for once”¦be a man!!
Logan sits at his desk”¦he pores himself a drink.
Rob: Of he needs a little liquid courage first.
He takes back his drink”¦
He picks up his gun”¦and some beep”¦its an intercom. Its someone from CTU about Bauer.
Romo: Its f*cking PERV!!
Logan finally picks up the phone. Its Perv who introduces himself. He says its about a recording that Bauer has brought to CTU. He says that Karen is working with Bauer and Bill and that they will play the recording for the Attorney General.
He says he feels compelled to intervene and wants Logan’s approval. Logan says he does approve. Logan says he will text Perv his private number. “And Myles I promise you I wont forgive this,” Logan tells him.
Rob: Stick it up your ass Perv!
Rob: So that’s how we are going to get 3 episodes left.
Perv moves into the conference room and talks to Chloe who tells him to get out of here. Chloe insults him and sends him off.

Rob: I laugh how Perv is becoming a central character.
Romo: I think Perv’s play is pretty smart.
Rob: Oh it is.
The next week on”¦.
Bierko escapes, something is wrong with the recording, Logan questions Pierce who calls him a disgrace, Jack questions Henderson.
Romo: I love Aaron Pierce.
Final Comments:
Rob: This is exactly what happens when you hire someone who can’t keep his hands to himself. The entire operation is now f*cked up because of one pervert. Incidentally, its also nice to know that after everything Logan has gone through he still wasn’t man enough at the end to do what he wanted to do. After careful consideration”¦this week’s MVP is none other than Goitre-Face. Just for surviving a car crash.
Romo: I love how the MVP didn’t even get screen time. This episode was certainly packed with action. The plane landing was pretty cool, although it would have been better had they hit the overpass. I am torn on the return of Heller, seems like a cop-out, although he makes a good possible President for next season. Hopefully Audrey dies in the next three hours and Logan is killed painfully by Novick or Agent Pierce making him regret not taking the easy way out. The MVP of this episode, and its was tough because only Jack really stood out this week. I hand the reigns to Mr. Curtis for his fast-talking at the checkpoint.
