In a dark match before RAW, Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch defeated two local wrestlers (names were hard to understand, billed from Bridgeport, CT) with a “Total Elimination” style move. After RAW went off the air, DX came out, were confronted by Spirit Squad, who they subsequently laid out.
At tonight’s ECW house show, Hardcore Holly and Matt Striker appeared, with Holly wrestling Balls Mahoney as a heel after getting a “welcome back” chant.
Before RAW, at the tapings for Heat, which airs on WWE.com Friday afternoon:
*Shelton Benjamin pinned Rob Conway after holding the ropes.
*Gene Snitsky beat Phil Braveman. The finish was described as “not making sense at all…he beat him with a scoopslam.”
*Viscera (with Charlie Haas) pinned Val Venis with a big splash off the ropes.
