Long to make major announcement
Sept. 27, 2006Sources close to Theodore Long have told WWE.com that SmackDown’s General Manager plans to make a major announcement this afternoon at 3 p.m. ET on WWE.com. There is no word at this time as to what the General Manager has in mind. Check back this afternoon for Theodore Long’s announcement.
Could it be that ERIC ANGLE has re-signed with the company? Or will it be something minor that we already know about from the Smackdown spoilers? We’ll have an update here on Pulse Wrestling once more is known.
In other news, Carlito threw out first pitch at last night’s Tigers/Blue Jays game; the Brian Pillman DVD is out today; and Dreamer used a prosthetic leg as a weapon over the weekend!

The following RAW live event have been rescheduled due to the addition of ECW to the show. On Oct. 2, WWE fans will be treated to a bonus feature of Extreme Championship Wrestling:
The live event scheduled for Topeka, Kan. at the Landon Arena at the Kansas Expocentre will now take place on Monday, Oct. 2 at 6:30 p.m. (originally scheduled for Oct. 2 at 7:00 p.m.).
We’ll have full coverage of RAW as it happens that night, including John Cena vs. Edge in a steel cage for the WWE Title.
