Flair vs. Kanyon; New WWE Book & More

News

– TNA have posted an uncut video interview with Jeff Jarrett on their website (part of which appeared on Impact this week) in which he talks of the extreme pressure he has been under lately, his newfound respect for Sting, and his intention to step away from the spotlight to focus on his family. Check it out here.

– Also, as with WWE removing archived mentions of Chris Jericho from its website this week, TNA have removed Monty Brown from theirs. Brown is currently negotiating a contract with WWE.

– WWE is set to release a book about some of its wrestlers’ most famous finishing moves on November 21st. It’s called “Signature Moves” and the front cover shows Shawn Michaels superkicking Kurt Angle. Here’s the blurb:

HIGH-RISK.

HIGH-FLYING. HIGH-IMPACT.

Most people identify themselves simply by saying their name or signing a document. But nothing is simple in World Wrestling Entertainment. There, WWE Superstars make their names in the squared circle through action and attitude, with their bodies and their blood. They climb the top rope, risk life and limb on tables and ladders, drive opponents headfirst into the canvas, or inflict excruciating pain to force adversaries to tap out on the mat. And they all do so with the ultimate hope of achieving the single most important label in sports entertainment: champion.

Signature Moves focuses on the tactics and delineating marks of more than eighty WWE Superstars, featuring never-before-seen photos of the moves that make these athletes so recognizable to fans around the world. Go airborne with a Rey Mysterio West Coast Pop or Rob Van Dam’s Five-Star Frog Splash. Feel the impact of a Batista Bomb or Triple H’s Pedigree. Submit yourself to Kurt Angle’s Angle Lock or John Cena’s STFU, or try avoiding the fury behind Kane’s Chokeslam or a Tombstone piledriver from Undertaker. If you’re still up to the challenge, relive the finishers that distinguished the likes of Hulk Hogan, Bret “Hit Man” Hart, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Randy “Macho Man” Savage, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, and Eddie Guerrero — the WWE legends.

Don’t fight it. Just pin yourself to a couch or steel chair and give in to Signature Moves.
