Bizarre Rap News: Weezy aims at Jay-Z

I’m so confused”¦

Lil’ Wayne is now dissing Jay-Z.

Not subliminal jabs, or veiled references, but literally calling Jay out (in an interview with Complex Magazine):

“I don’t like what he’s saying about how he had to come back because hip-hop’s dead and we need him,” Wayne told Complex magazine. “What the f— do you mean? If anything it’s reborn, so he’s probably having a problem with that. You left on a good note, and all of the artists were saying, ‘Yo, this is Jay’s house. He’s the best.’ Now he comes back and still thinks it’s his house. … It’s not your house anymore, and I’m better than you.” One of those artists was Wayne, who proclaimed on “Bring It Back” that he was the “best rapper alive since the best rapper retired.” But Jay’s return with claims of being “hip-hop’s savior” on Kingdom Come hasn’t changed how Wayne feels about his own status in hip-hop. “I’m better than him,” Wayne said. “I’m 24 years old. I’m 13 years deep with five albums and 10 million records sold.”

First of all, they sound the like the same damned person.

Second of all, they both need to get the keys to the house snatched. Weezy just used his to let Robin Thicke in through the back door and Jigga lets Coldplay sleep in the basement.
