With Cena and Kane on DVD, Austin’s Movie is Next

Stacy Keibler will be on the George Lopez Show on January 31 and February 21, as well as What About Brian? in seven appearances beginning February 5. Both shows are on ABC. Also, Trish Stratus’ show Armed and Famous, premieres tomorrow on CBS at 8pm EST.

The final box office tally for The Marine, starring John Cena, was $18,764,457.00 over its 77 day release, according to Pro Wrestling Insider. The DVD comes out soon, and it will be interesting to see how it does compared with Kane’s See No Evil. The third feature from WWE Films, The Condemned, starring Steve Austin, is supposedly better than either film that preceded it, and Stone Cold’s name has been mentioned more and more lately on WWE TV in preparation for the big promotional push for its Spring release.

In other news, WrestlingObserver.com reported that OVW commentator Kenny Bolin was in the emergency room Friday and Saturday due to congestive heart failure, getting additional tests after no clogged arteries were found. He is expected to be at tomorrow’s OVW TV tapings, so we should hopefully know more then. We wish him the best.

James Laurinaitis, son of Road Warrior Animal, has been getting a lot of press this year for his award-winning season with the Ohio State football team, which faced Florida last night in the BCS Championship Game. Throughout the year, fans of his would dress up with spiked shoulder pads, etc., to root on “Animal Jr.” WWE.com has a story up on this now.
