They say every killer lives next door to someone. Sure enough, in every single neighborhood with every single house there just may be a serial killer or some sort of psychopath staying in the house right beside yours. And Shia LaBeouf is finding out exactly how it feels.
Disturbia tells the story of Kale (LeBeouf) who has become nothing more then a troublesome kid after the death of his father. Kale finds himself getting in trouble so often that he’s actually been placed under house arrest. Looking to make the best of a situation he can’t do anything about, he finds his boundary limits and then proceeds to have his own little stakeouts to see what everyday things happen in his neighborhood.
Kale ends up seeing more then he had hoped for though as he witnesses a murder in the house across the street from his. Just like the boy who cried wolf, no-one wants to believe a troublesome teenager, so hoping to find some proof and that what he saw was real, Kale continues his watch on his neighbor Turner (David Morse) to see if it happens again. Problem is Kale may end up his next victim.
