Nicolas Cage is currently burning up the box office with his hit film Ghost Rider, but the trailer for his upcoming film Next is now out for all to view.
Cage plays Cris Johnson. Johnson is a man who can see into the future and find out things before they happen by just a few minutes. Undergoing numerous government tests as a child, Johnson has taken up a small time magician job in Las Vegas and living under a fake name. The ability to know the future also gives one the power to change it however they see fit. He soon finds out that having this gift turns out to be a huge burden.
The government finds out that a terrorists group is planning on setting off a nuclear bomb near Los Angeles, but they don’t know exactly where or when. Their only hope is to find Johnson and have him help them discover their plan. Johnson is having serious problems of his own though trying to find a way to keep those he loves alive.
Jessica Biel and Julianne Moore also star in Next which is to be released in theatres on April 27.
