Coming from the great (?) minds that brought you Garfield: A Tale Of Two Kitties is going to be a supposed CGI/live-action version of Alvin And The Chipmunks.
Jason Lee (My Name Is Earl, Mallrats) is going to star in the Tim Hill directed film as the chipmunks’ dad Dave Seville.
The film is going to center on the origins of the young chipmunks as they made their way to their new home and father. It will along with them as they grow up and become singing superstars.
Fox 2000 Pictures and 20th Century Fox Animation are aiming for a December 14 release date.
