According to Dave Meltzer at WrestlingObserver.com, “WWE administered dozens of drug tests to talent at today’s Smackdown show in Cleveland.” Pro Wrestling Insider states that, according to a source, over two dozen urine tests were believed to have been administered.
The AP and several other news outlets covered the story today, without any new info than was in the SI.com report, with Randy Orton, Edge and Shane Helms for whatever reason getting mentioned pretty often. Craig Ferguson had fun with the story on The Late Late Show tonight as well.
