Welcome back to the hottest Heat recap ever written! This episode of Heat is brought to us by “slomming.” Sounds like fun. Todd Grisham and the Coach are packing Heat so let’s get right to it!

Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Eugene make their way to the ring to take on Xavier and Scotty Charisma. Let’s hope Eugene can keep his hands off Duggan’s wood this week. That hope doesn’t come true as the referee has to fight with Eugene over Duggan’s wood, but we’re under way soon enough.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Eugene vs. Xavier and Scotty Charisma

The Coach notes that Scotty Charisma, indeed, has charisma. Who would’ve thought? Duggan and Xavier start. Duggan gets kneed in the chest mid-ho and gets sent to the ropes. He reverses and hits a clothesline, finishing his “hooooo” along the way. Two more clotheslines lead to a body slam and a knee drop for two. Scotty tags in and punches Duggan in the corner. He misses a blind charge and gets elbowed, and Duggan tags in Eugene.

Eugene pounds down but gets distracted by whatever shiny object Xavier had and gets back dropped. Scotty hits a chinlock as the crowd starts a U.S.A. chant. The Charisma’s must be Canadian. Eugene gets brought back to the Charisma’s corner and gets double teamed after Xavier tags in. He gets a front facelock and drags Eugene to the corner. He sends Eugene to the other corner and hits a running drop kick. Xavier gets a snap mare and we get another chin lock. Eugene powers out but gets slugged back down in the corner. He gets sent to the other corner but blocks Xavier’s blind charge with his head.

Duggan gets the hot tag as Xavier tags in Scotty. Scotty gets slugged down in the ropes and power slammed. Xavier runs in to try his luck but gets hip tossed for his troubles. 3 Point Stance on Scotty is enough to finish it.

Winners: Eugene and Hacksaw Jim Duggan

An ad for the Four Horsemen DVD brings us to our next match, as Val Venis makes his way out to take on Sean Reynolds.

Val Venis vs. Sean Reynolds

Val ties up Reynolds’ arm as Todd compares Reynolds to a Klingon, due to the hair and beard he’s sporting. The hair and disgusting tan make him look a little more like early 80’s Hulk Hogan than a Klingon. Anyway, Reynolds powers out with a hard right hand and punches Val down in the corner. Val comes back with some clotheslines and nails a few knees coming off the ropes and a Russian leg sweep. That gets one.

Val gets a shoulder block and a body slam coming off the ropes but misses a knee drop and Reynolds takes advantage. He bars the bad knee but Val powers out. Val tries a suplex but can’t lift him up on his knee and Reynolds takes him down. He tries a half crab but Val kicks him away. Val starts coming back with some clotheslines and a neck breaker. Val hits a spine buster and goes upstairs. The Money Shot finishes it.

Winner: Val Venis

An ad for The Marine on DVD brings us back to Smackdown as Batista and The Undertaker fight to a draw in a cage match and Edge cashes in his Money In The Bank after an attack by Mark Henry to win the World Heavyweight Title. That brings us to an ad for the Wrestlemania 23 DVD.

Johnny Nitro makes his way to the ring, sans Melina, followed by Kenny Dykestra, as they are facing Cryme Tyme in the main event.

Cryme Tyme vs. The OVW Connection

JTG and Nitro start. Nitro wins a lock up and sends JTG into the corner. Shad gives Nitro a shove from the outside, as JTG takes advantage with a hard right hand. Nitro slaps Shad to goad him into the ring, and Kenny gets a few shots in while the ref is occupied. Nitro chokes JTG in the ropes but JTG fights back and hits a hip toss. JTG gets a shoulder block and a drop kick for one.

JTG grabs a headlock, or a “Brooklyn Kung-Fu Grip” as he put it, and Shad gets a blind tag. JTG dances to distract Nitro, who gets hit with a big clothesline from Shad and does a Marty Janetty-style triple mid-air somersault sell of it. Kenny runs in but gets hip tossed, and Cryme Tyme clotheslines the OVW Connection out of the ring.

Kenny tags in and wants a test of strength, but tries a kick. That gets blocked and Shad clotheslines him down. He gets a body slam and tags in JTG. Cryme Tyme gets the double team flap jack for two. Kenny knees him in the gut and tags in Nitro. Nitro comes in fast but gets hit with a drop toe hold and an elbow by JTG. Nitro counters with a slap but that just makes JTG mad. He gives chase outside the ring and ends up being thrown into the barricade by Kenny while the Nitro has the referee distracted.

We come back from a Randy Orton highlight package to find Kenny with a chin lock onj JTG. JTG powers out and tries to run to the ropes but Kenny trips him up and tags in Nitro. Nitro gets a nice elbow drop from off the top rope for two. Kenny tags back in and gets a double ax handle off the top and punches him down. Kenny tries for a suplex but JTG counters with a roll up for two. Kenny knocks him back down with a clothesline.

Kenny drags JTG back to his corner and tags in Nitro. Kenny monkey flips him into Nitro’s elbow and JTG falls onto Kenny’s knees, then Nitro drops an elbow in a sweet double team combo from the OVW Connection. That gets one before Shad breaks up the count. JTG tries to get back to his corner but gets dragged back and Kenny tags in. Kenny gets a quick cover for two and hits a chin lock. JTG powers out but gets drop kicked for two and Kenny tags out.

Nitro chokes JTG in the ropes and Kenny adds a cheap shot for good measure. Kenny tags back in and they try to double team JTG but he runs around dodging their moves until he makes the hot tag to Shad. Shad has some clotheslines for Kenny and a back body drop for Nitro. He hits Kenny with a snake eyes in the corner and gets a clothesline coming off the ropes. That gets two before Nitro breaks up the count. Shad kicks Nitro down and JTG comes in for the G9 on Kenny which gets the pin.

Winners: Cryme Tyme

That’s all for Heat.
