Kylie Minogue shocked and perplexed a large crowd of partygoers whilst performing at a Dolce & Gabbana event in France, when she went off on a tangent about her “black girl’s butt,” comparing herself to Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez.
According to witnesses, the singer (whom you might also remember from her thought-provoking performance as Cammy in the film adaptation of Street Fighter) told the audience, which included Jay-Z and singer Jamelia, “Look at my butt. I’ve got a great black girl’s butt, kinda like Beyoncé and J-Lo. I may be from Australia but I think I must have some blackness in me. … You’ll never hear me wishing I had a smaller butt. The bigger the better.” The comments were met with nervous laughter, followed by some guy in the eighth row coughing.
While the editor would certainly not turn down a chance to give Kylie Minogue the dillsnick, I’m not sure if I’d classify her ass as comparable to that of a black girl or J-Lo. Plus, Vida Guerra owns all of them, and she’s Cuban. Goddamn that trade embargo…
