Cappotelli Health Update

Archive

Matt Cappotelli was at last night’s Ohio Valley Wrestling tapings in Louisville, and gave the crowd an update on his health.

He said that his brain surgery went well, and that he just had another minor surgery the night before as part of his preparation for chemotherapy.

He said that before his surgery he claimed that his barin tumor was six to seven inches, the size of Mike Mondo’s brain; but he corrected himself to say that that is actually twice the size of Mondo’s brain.

Cappotelli, former OVW Heavyweight Champion and co-champion of Tough Enough III along with John “Morrison” Hennigan, has been inactive since being diagnosed with brain cancer.

According to a report on WrestlingObserver.com, he seemed in good spirits last night. Of course, we wish him a full recovery.
