Mike Johnson of PWInsider says that linking Ken Kennedy to Mr. McMahon as his son somehow “was indeed the plan going into the angle.” He makes sure, of course, to note that this is “all up in the air” which makes sense to me, since by all accounts, WWE’s booking plans have changed pretty often lately. As we have reported here in the past, WWE has been high on Kennedy, who won the Money in the Bank match at this year’s Wrestlemania but dropped the title shot to Edge after suffering an injury a few months back, and one of the much talked-about plans for the McMahon/exploding limo angle was for Kennedy to be tied to helping McMahon stage his death, thus giving him a huge rub in a major angle. Time will tell if that happens here…
