Takeshi Morishima hurt his elbow in the match on 8/10 against Claudio Castagnoli, but will not miss any time. ROH are putting that over as one of their best matches of the year. Hard to argue.
Fan favorite, Mike Quackenbush will not be back in ROH in 2007. In 2008, ROH would like him to be as close to a regular as possible, Chikara schedule permitting. Here’s hoping ROH still books Hallowicked and Jigsaw this year.
Erick Stevens in the star-making performance on 8/11 was knocked silly, but continued the match. Still awaiting word on Aries and Cross.
11/2 in Philadelphia (and in my estimation 11/3 in NYC) will feature KENTA, Marufuji, Morishima and hopefully another major international star. The speculation, obviously, is that this is Misawa.
Final Battle ’07 will be 12/29 in NYC.
