Pro Wrestling Insider is reporting that “it is believed that Chris Jericho has indeed signed a new deal with World Wrestling Entertainment.” This is based on PWInsider’s TNA sources who said that they were hoping to sign him, but that Jericho decided to go to WWE instead. The SAVE_US.222 videos started two weeks ago, around the same time negotiations with TNA ceased.
When Jericho was last with WWE, he had just lost a WWE Championship match to John Cena at Summerslam 2005, and was then dragged off of RAW. There have been plenty of rumors swirling around that due to recent WWE injuries, Jericho will be making his WWE return at either this Sunday’s No Mercy PPV or at Cyber Sunday on October 28.
