– Armando Estrada interviews Chavo Guerrero, who talks about attacking C.M. Punk last week. Punk comes out and Chavo challenges him to a title shot. Estrada said he could have it if he beat Punk tonight.
– Jimmy Wang Yang, Shannon Moore & Kelly Kelly beat John Morrison, The Miz & Layla when Yang pinned Miz after a moonsault.
– Tazz interviews Colin Delaney, who says his resolution is to become a WWE Superstar.
– Big Daddy V beat Colin Delaney.
– Shelton Benjamin beat James Curtis.
– C.M. Punk beat Chavo Guerrero by count-out. Punk just got back in the ring in time as they were brawling on the floor.
Smackdown…
– Vickie Guerrero announces a Beat The Clock challenge to determine who gets a Royal Rumble title shot. She also introduces the new Smackdown colour commentator, Jonathan Coachman.
– Finlay beat MVP in 9:16 after hitting him with the shillelaigh. Vince McMahon comes out to celebrate with Hornswoggle but ignores Finlay.
– Kenny & Victoria beat Chuck Palumbo & Michelle McCool when Victoria pinned Michelle after a Widow’s Peak. Chuck and Michelle argued afterwards.
– Chavo Guerrero beat Funaki in 6:02.
– Batista faced the Edgeheads in a Beat the Clock match but didn’t beat Chavo’s time. The Edgeheads fled to the back after the time ran out.
– Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore beat Deuce & Domino when Moore pinned Domino.
– The Undertaker had Mark Henry beat in a Beat the Clock match. Matt Striker was the referee and he refused to count the pin after Taker chokeslammed Henry. The clock rand out and Striker ran away. From backstage, he said if Taker wanted to get to him he had to go through Big Daddy V.
– Rey Mysterio beat Edge with 1:02 left, giving him the Royal Rumble title shot. Batista came out to destroy the Edgeheads early in the match. Undertaker then came out and stood in the entranceway. The lights then when out and when they came back on, Edge was in position for a 619. Rey hit it for the win.
Dark Match…
– Batista beat Edge by DQ in a World Heavyweight Title match. Edge hit a lowblow for the DQ. The lights went out afterwards, with Undertaker in the ring when they came back on. He and Batista beat up the Edgeheads.
