G-FUNK ANNOUNCES JANUARY 18 PREMIERE OF RING OF HONOR’S “UNDENIABLE”

Internationally Acclaimed Federation Ring Of Honor To Broadcast State-Of-The-Art Pro Wrestling Show On Fourth Pay-Per-View Event Via Dish Network, iN DEMAND & TVN

Weston, CT—Ken Gelman of G-Funk Sports & Entertainment is proud to announce the Pay-Per-View and Video-On-Demand broadcast of “Undeniable” on Friday, January 18, 2008, via Dish Network, iN DEMAND and TVN from the internationally-acclaimed Ring Of Honor (ROH), who also brought you “Respect Is Earned,” “Driven” and “Man-Up!” A free 10-minute preview of “Undeniable” can be experienced at www.ROHvideos.com, hosted by Larry Sweeney and Chris Hero.

Since the advent of its revered product, ROH has been inundated with rave reviews across-the-board. Wrestling Observer Newsletter called “Man Up!,” “from a wrestling standpoint, up there with the best PPVs of all-time. Seriously.” Now, ROH ups the ante on its celebrated brand of Combat Art which utilizes elements of wrestling, mixed-martial arts and aggression like you’ve never seen before to create its own niche in this depressed era of silly WWE storylines that turn off real wrestling fans and disenfranchised former fans.

“Undeniable” is headlined by an ROH World Championship title match between the champion, Japan’s Takeshi Morishima (who had shockingly won the belt by defeating Homicide in Philadelphia, PA on February 17, 2007, taking it home to Tokyo and defending it all over the world) and the challenger, Great Britain’s Nigel McGuinness.

Also on the line is the ROH World Champion Tag Team belts, as worn by Jay and Mark Briscoe. They defend against the team of Davey Richards and Rocky Romero.

Austin Aries faces former partner Roderick Strong in a grudge match.

A wild six-man tag team bout pits Delirious, Kevin Steen and El Generico against Adam Pierce, Brent Albright and BJ Whitmer.

Former ROH World Champion Bryan “The American Dragon” Danielson squares off against Chris Hero.

Sara Del Ray takes on Daizee Haze.

In tag team action, the high-flying crowd-pleaser Jack Evans teams up with Ruckus to face Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black.

“There’s a reason this broadcast is called `Undeniable,’” says ROH owner Cary Silkin. “I don’t mind saying that our brand of wrestling, once experienced, is, indeed, undeniable. We have fine-tuned our broadcasts to the point where I’d put our presentation up against anybody in the world. The shows are so loaded, and the price is affordable. I dare anybody to put out this kind of action at these prices! The knowledgeable wrestling fan knows that Ring Of Honor brings the goods. It’s undeniable.”

“Over the past weeks and months,” adds Gelman, “the response from our valued cable and satellite partners has been nothing short of enthusiastic. As ROH continues to grab critical acclaim and put out the best product in ring sports today, these very partners have demonstrated their support through aggressive marketing and promotions. We’re proud of our growth to date and hold an optimistic outlook towards 2008.”

ABOUT RING OF HONOR

A new entry into the American television audience, but long revered by a loyal underground fan base, the Philadelphia-based ROH—currently seen on Canadian, British and Japanese TV—appeals to the disenfranchised wrestling fan fed up with storylines which seem to take precedence over the kind of powerful ring competition that ROH specializes in. ROH, in fact, is seen to have the highest level of athleticism in its field today, which recently culminated in a sweep of the 2006 Wrestling Observer awards for “Most Outstanding Wrestler,” “Best Brawler,” “Best Major Wrestling Show” (ROH took four of its Top 10) and “Best Booker.”
