EliteXC Makes Offer to Fedor, Another Fight Added to May 31st Card

News

MMAJunkie is reporting that Fedor Emelianenko has been offered a deal to join EliteXC. Fedor is currently in limbo as he claims he never officially signed with the M-1 Global organization. Under EliteXC’s alleged offer, Fedor would make between $300,000 and $500,000 per fight over four fights. EliteXC would like to get Fedor on their May 31st card that will debut on CBS, although he would not be matched up against Kimbo Slice.

Kimbo will be fighting someone on May 31st and a Middleweight Title fight between Robbie Lawler and Scott Smith has already been announced. Now add Phil Baroni vs. Ninja Rua to the card. This is certainly a great addition to card as Baroni is just as much TV Personality as he is Fighter.

Frank Shamrock is scheduled to fight Cung Le this Saturday on Showtime but one fight has now been called off. The Welterweight Title fight between Jake Shields and Drew Fickett is off due to a back injury suffered by Shields during training. EliteXC is looking for a replacement to face Fickett but it may be too late with just five days until the event.
