TNA Frontline, TV & PPV News

News

TNA apparently has no plans to tape anything on their UK tour or the Tokyo Dome show for regular TV or for another Global Impact special. This is being attributed to cutting down on expenses wherever possible, even though the last Japanese special got great reviews and their UK shows are going to be in major arenas, which could help their image.

In a similar vein, it seems Dixie Carter does not like paying guys who are not working, which is why there tend to be so many multiple-person matches on TNA PPVs.

One of the original names pitched for the Frontline group was TNA Xtacy, since they wanted something with an X in the name. Thankfully, that was dropped. They ditched the Original moniker due to guys like Rhino and Team 3D getting involved in the group as their time in other promotions is so well-known.
