The long-term plan for Raw at the moment includes Batista turning heel and Randy Orton turning face.
Rey Mysterio still has not signed the new contract offered to him by WWE. He wants to agree to a three-year deal but WWE are trying to get him for five years. Mysterio does have an advantage over others in similar positions as his popularity in Mexico gives him extra leverage in negotiations.
