Mike Johnson at PWI has the following notes on ROH:
Allison Danger and her husband (European based wrestler Ares) are expecting a child.
Low Ki and Monsta Mack visited backstage at Final Battle, and Akira Hokotu (Kensuke Sasaki’s wife and a former All Japan and WCW star) was also in attendance.
Johnson also points out former ROH booker Gabe Sapolsky’s latest blog entry, where he plugs his upcoming shoot DVD and fills out his Wrestling Observer awards ballot, taking some shots at his former employer in the process (and plugging the DVD some more in the process):
16) Best Booker: Me- come on. I’d give it to Pearce, but he needs to thank me for the house last Saturday.
19) Best Promotion: Well it can’t be ROH cause if it was so good the booker wouldn’t have been fired.
He also has a lot of praise for everyone from Nigel McGuinness to Lacey:
12) Best Non-Wrestler Performer: Lacey- She just makes everything she is involved in better and is a catalyst for a lot of great storylines and promos. Now just think of the angles she was involved in this year and her work at ringside. Now imagine she wasn’t there. It just isn’t as good.
