The Notorious B.I.G., one of the most influential hip-hop artists of all-time, deserved more than a glossy VH1-esque biopic. George Tillman Jr.’s Notorious, which was executive produced by Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, stars newcomer Jamal Woolard as Christopher Wallace (aka Biggie Smalls), who went from a Brooklyn hustler to one of the most prominent acts of the genre. Also starring Derek Luke as producer/friend Combs, Angela Bassett as mother Voletta, Antonique Smith as wife Faith Evans, and Anthony Mackie as rival Tupac Shakur. Notorious comes to single-disc DVD, 3-Disc DVD, and 2-Disc Blu-ray on April 21st.
