WWE Hall Of Fame News: Watts Posts Entire Speech, Notes On The Show

News

“Cowboy” Bill Watts has posted his entire WWE Hall of Fame speech (he was only able to give a five minute version at the show) on his website.

PWI’s Mike Johnson reports that the ceremony was a legit sellout. The 11,000 fans who attended made it the biggest crowd in the ceremony’s history. He also reports that programs weren’t free this year; they cost $20 and featured pictures of every Hall of Famer, as well as bios of the 2009 class.

Johnson, who attended the show, praised the WWE for telling fans to bevave themselves during the ceremony (apparently Gordon Solie’s family was harassed last year) while calling for them to move the show to Friday so they’re not pushing inductees to present speeches in five minutes.
