Well, there are some other free agents out there, and guys fighting with other companies who aren’t exclusive. So we’ll explore those options before we make the announcement of who he’s fighting.
There are few other options out there who would make for an intriguing option for Overeem’s title defense. There are certainly heavyweight free agents out there, but I’d be much more interested in seeing Werdum than in seeing Roy Nelson or Ben Rothwell.
Scott Coker is a smart promoter; I doubt he holds off on Werdum vs. Overeem for too long, especially with Overeem making overtures of going to the UFC.
