The Diary of Anne Frank in High-Definition on June 16th

Because when you think high definition, you think of a Jewish teenager who documented the Nazi occupation of The Netherlands while in hiding for two years. Fox Home Entertainment is set to release a 50th Anniversary Blu-ray and DVD of George Stevens’s The Diary of Anne Frank. The film, which won three Oscars and was nominated for five more (including Best Picture), is based off of the young Frank’s famous diary and tells the story of the Frank and Van Daan (based on the van Peels) families, both hiding in a tiny room in Otto Frank’s (Anne’s father) Amsterdam office building. Full of new features* in addition to those available on the 2004 disc, The Diary of Anne Frank comes to Blu-ray** and DVD on June 16th.
