PWI’s Mike Johnson reports the following on TNA:
TNA Knockouts Champion Angelina Love, who suffered an injury during her title victory at Lockdown, is scheduled to return to action during this weekend’s house shows. So is her (former?) manager Kip James. Love is set to face ODB all weekend, while James will take on Eric Young and Abyss in singles competition.
Booker T. and Jeff Jarrett will be working together in the main event all weekend, with three singles matches, the last one bookended by a six man tag with Beer Money and Team 3D on each man’s respective side (those teams will fight over the tag titles the rest of the weekend).
Conspicuously absent are AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Scott Steiner, and TNA X-Division Champion Suicide. TNA Champion Mick Foley, Sting, and Kevin Nash are also not on any of the cards, but that’s not too much of a surprise.
In PPV news, there are no plans for any kind of fan interaction events at this year’s Slammiversary in Detroit at the moment.
