PWI’s Mike Johnson reports that current WWE Champion Batista is set to undergo surgery tomorrow to repair a torn tendon in his biceps. WWE knew about the injury going in to the match, which is why the match was as short as it was. It’s not believed to be a full tear, which means he will miss less time in the ring. There’s no time table set for his absence as of yet, but I’m sure we’ll find out after the surgery takes place tomorrow.
Pro Wrestling.net’s Jason Powell passes along word from Jeff Hardy’s girlfriend Beth that Jeff broke a finger and injured his shoulder during his ladder match with Edge last night. There’s no word on whether Jeff will miss any time at this point.
