I must admit that I found this a little surprising: Bobby Lashley is a gigantic betting favorite for his upcoming Saturday bout with Bob “The Beast” Sapp.
Lashley is currently listed at -550 while Sapp is at +400. It was obvious from the moment the fight was announced that the former college wrestler and WWE product would be a favorite in the match against Sapp, but I never expected the line to be this wide. Sapp always has a punchers chance and you can be assured that he’ll be going for the quick knockout before Lashley can grab him and get the fight to the ground.
This is a great fight to throw a small flyer on, if you’re the betting type.
Affliction’s Tom Atencio is also listed as a small favorite against Randy Hedderick.
