Recently-traded (to Smackdown) Matt Hardy had surgery last week and will be out of action.
The UK Sun is reporting that he will be out for eight to ten weeks after having an abdominal tear repaired on Thursday. He reportedly suffered the injury June 22. Hardy pretty much confirmed the news in comments on his Twitter account, on which he responded to Ashley Massaro’s tweet saying she heard the surgery went well, etc. Also on Twitter: Matt’s friends have been teasing that his surgery was actually a sex change. This rumor seems to be patently false, however.
