Vitali Klitschko Reaches Agreement With Arreola

News

Vitali Klitschko rebounds quickly. After being spurned by David Haye, Klitschko reached an agreement to fight Chris Arreola on September 26 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. Vitali will be putting his WBC title on the line.

Besides having the best last name in boxing, Chris Arreola also sports an undefeated record of 27-0 with 24 knockouts. This is a major step up in competition for Arreola. His style rarely allows him to see more than four rounds in a fight. Arreola’s conditioning is a big concern. Arreola actually turned down a fight with Vitali for September 12, stating that he was in poor shape and wouldn’t be ready by then. Two more weeks really shouldn’t change anything. Don’t expect a fit Arreola for the fight. Not that you ever should.
