Bobby Lashley’s next mixed martial arts fight has been announced, and it’s not exactly the step up in competition that his management has been promising for the heavyweight uber-prospect.
Lashley will face Ron Waterman, a fighter who is the very definition of a journeyman fighter. The 44 year old Waterman last fought in November 2008, but his last major victory happened in 2004 when he beat Kevin Randleman. Waterman is a strong wrestler and not much else, so it should be fairly easy for Lashley to score a victory in this bout.
The fight will be promoted by Prize Fight Promotions, the same folks who brought us the Ultimate Chaos event featuring Lashley vs. Bob Sapp.
