The USA Network announced last week that their new series White Collar will premiere Friday, Oct. 23, with a 90-minute episode. It will run for 13 episodes and fill Monk’s timeslot once the final season of that show is done.

White Collar stars Matthew Bomer (Chuck) as a con man who’s brought in as an FBI consultant, working on complex white-collar crime cases with the man who caught him (Tim DeKay).

“‘White Collar’ is a fresh and fun take on the classic buddy formula, pairing a career criminal with a career federal agent,” USA’s Jeff Wachtel says. “The series will offer viewers a distinct voice and style, inspired storytelling and memorable characters.”

It also stars Tiffani Thiessen (Saved by the Bell) as DeKay’s wife and Willie Garson (Sex and the City) as Bomer’s FBI-wary friend.

I'm not embarrassed to say that my favorite television show of all-time is The O.C. I live by the motto "you can't fight fate!" More importantly, I watch WAY too much television, but I do so for the benefit of everyone reading this now. So to my mom and my wife, I say thanks for reading! To everyone else that might stumble across this, remember TiVo should be your best friend!
