The latest Ring of Honor Videowire has been uploaded, and includes comments from Kenny King, Sonjay Dutt, The Young Bucks, Eddie Kingston, and Jimmy Rave, as well as another episode of “The Art of Wrestling” from Colt Cabana. In addition, both The American Wolves and Steen & Generico speak out in anticipation of Ladder War II. You can watch the Videowire here.Â
ROH has also posted the match from “Contention” between Jimmy Rave, Claudio Castagnoli, and Ernie Osiris against Colt Cabana, Grizzly Redwood, and Necro Butcher, available for viewing here. This is the match that set the wheels in motion for the rivalry that will culminate when Necro and Rave meet in a Dog Collar Match, on September 19th in Chicago.
ROH will be making its Los Angeles debut at the WrestleReunion convention, scheduled for January 29-31, 2010, at the International Ballroom at the LAX Hilton. Check here for more information on the convention.
A non-title match between Brent Albright & Erick Stevens vs. The American Wolves has been signed for the September 18th show in Dayton. Also, two more matches have been signed for the following weekend: On September 25th, in Boston, Kenny Omega will take on former ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness. The next night, at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, McGuinness is in action again, against Roderick Strong.
Colt Cabana makes his stand-up comedy debut this Saturday (August 22nd) at the Improv in Hollywood. Also starring in the “Total Extreme Comedy” show will be Mick Foley, Bret Ernst, and others. Go to the Improv’s website and follow the links to Hollywood, CA for more details.
