A Modest Blog apologizing for thinking highly of TNA

Columns, Features

I thought TNA would make a new star at their Pay Per View, using Matt Morgan to become a new, different dominant face. Sure, he was a WWE guy, but WWE never really used him, so he would be a fresh face atop TNA, a huge guy with a great look, who could talk and work well enough to be a star, and who is on American Gladiators, so had a shot to get some crossover appeal. Then Kurt Angle got arrested.

Kurt, a man let go from the WWE for his destructive tendencies, was caught stalking his ex, with drugs and a suspended liscence. One would think, even if TNA were going to play it safe and keep Angle atop their cards, then this arrest would convince them to take the plunge and go in a new direction…but, no, not TNA.

TNA has decided to use Matt Morgan like Tomko before him, as a lackey. He isn’t the huge new face, getting over dismantling the heel army. He’s just another big guy standing in the background while the real stars talk. Thanks TNA.

Next up for ruining- Hernandez.
