I recently had a chance to ask Isa Garcia a few questions. Garcia was a Cardinal farmhand, until he was released in spring training. He’s currently playing in the independent American Association.
TGC: What’s the hardest thing about playing baseball?
IG: Being away from my wife and son when we are on the road.
TGC: What activities do you do on your day off?
IG: Relax at the pool. Enjoying time with my wife and son. Go to the mall and get some shopping done.
TGC: Who has had the biggest influence on your career?
IG: My two brothers. I grew up watching them play. I learned everything watching them play.
TGC: What would you want to do if you weren’t playing baseball?
IG: I’ve never liked this question.
TGC: What’s your pre-game routine?
IG: Wake up. Feed my sone. Eat breakfast. Workout. Relax. Lunch. Get to the field for early hitting. Batting practice. Shower. Listen to music. Game time!
