About Luluki:

What do you get when you combine the horrifying sublimity of early Buñuel with cutting edge haute fashion mashups?  You get Luluki.

Journey into the strange and silent world of Luluki each week to follow the misadventures of a shamanic veterinarian and her friend the demented rabbit as they journey from place to place healing animals and humans alike, in ways each more surreal and macabre than the last.

About Sarah Horrocks:

Hailing from the Midwest to be general, Springfield, Missouri to be specific—Sarah Horrocks has always been compelled to write.  From writing noir inspired short stories as a child to her work in creative writing workshops at her alma mater Tulane University, storytelling has always been a part of her life.  Even though she credits Bill Watterson’s Calvin and Hobbes as a primary force in her early intellectual growth as a writer, it wasn’t until she read Alan Moore’s The Watchmen in High School that she saw the potential that the comic medium had for writers.  She decided then that she wanted to write comics.

Unfortunately, it’s one thing to write comics, and it is another to actually make them.  And after spending many years writing scripts in the vein hope that she would magically connect with the right artist and finally get up and running as a comic book creator, Sarah decided she needed to figure out a way to do it herself.  Using a meticulous and some might say deranged style of collage art, she was able to do just that with her first comic project called Ophelia, which debuted on the web in the summer of 2008.  This experimental work, deeply enmeshed in the Thoth tarot deck, was the springboard by which she launched herself into 2009.

Sarah balances her comic book work(both writing and artwork) against a full-time job as a hotel night auditor.  But, she says, the DIY nature of her work makes the crazy hours worth it.

For more info on her past works, present web activities,  and upcoming comic projects go to sarahhorrocks.wordpress.com.  Sarah can also be found on Facebook and Twitter(@mercurialblonde).

ah, the good old Dr Manolis, the original comics Greek. He's been at this for sometime. he was there when the Comics Nexus was founded, he even gave it its name, he even used to run it for a couple of years. he's been writing about comics, geeking out incessantly and interviewing busier people than himself for over ten years now and has no intention of stopping anytime soon.
