The U.K. Sun’s Simon Rothstein has an interview with former TNA Knockout Jenna Morasca, about her firing from the company. She found TNA’s timing poor, to say the least:
“And the truth is that I took two days off out of all the time of working with them to be with my boyfriend as he had surgery because of his cancer, and they fired me the night before his surgery.
“I thought the timing was really cruel and insensitive.
“Considering we weren’t doing a taping for another three weeks, why couldn’t they have waited a few more days?”
She had fears that working a match with Sharmell would make her expendable. She says that TNA confirmed that when she pushed for a reason for her firing:
“When pushed harder they said my storyline had come to an end, which justifies my concern that I’d do the match and then be discarded.
