PWI Insider.com’s Mike Johnson reports that the clock was stopped during last night’s Iron Man Match between John Cena and Randy Orton because Vince McMahon wanted Cena’s cut cleaned before crowd brawling segment later in the match. Cena was busted open hardway by the box of the microphone Orton hit him with, which was why WWE acted so quickly to close the cut; the blood was unplanned. McMahon didn’t want any health scares involving a bleeding wrestler going in to the crowd or for Linda McMahon’s political opponents to get any more ammunition against her.
