And now the news.

Fox has announced that Jennifer’s Body will arrive to DVD and Blu-ray Disc on December 29th. The DVD will be a single disc release, while the BD will include two (the second disc is a digital copy of the extended cut). Both releases will include theatrical and extended cuts. The only extra material on the DVD release will be a commentary with director Karyn Kusama and writer Diablo Cody on the theatrical cut. The Blu-ray release will include that, along with six deleted scenes (“Dead Boys”, “Jennifer Check Is Gross”, “Needy Confronts Jennifer”, “Who’s Cindy Crawford?”, “Needy Faces The Band”, “Ass, Gas or Grass”), video diaries, four featurettes (“Jennifer’s Body: The Dead Pool”, “Megan Fox Is HOT”, “Megan Fox Peer Pressure PSA”, “Fox Movie Channel Presents ‘Life After Film School’ With Writer Diablo Cody”), and a gag reel.

Warner Bros. has announced a pair of titles. The first is the DVD and Blu-ray releases of The Final Destination for January 5th. Both formats will include 2D and 3D versions of the film, along with 2 pairs of 3-D glasses. The only extra material on the DVD release will be additional scenes. The Blu-ray release will also include alternate endings, a Body Count: The Deaths of The Final Destination featurette, Pre-Visualization/Storyboard Segments, BD-Live features, and a digital copy of the film.

Also from Warner Bros. is The Time Traveler’s Wife which stars Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams. The DVD and Blu-ray of this film will be available to own beginning February 9th. The only extra material on the DVD release the featurette “Love Beyond Words” in which Rachel McAdams, Eric Bana, director Robert Schwentke, and screenwriter Bruce Joel Rubin recount the popular tale’s journey. The Blu-ray release will include that feature, along with a “Unconventional Love Story” featurette in which Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana explore defining moments in their characters’ relationship, and a digital copy of the film.

These next two releases share a similar trait. One is an American Pie rip-off being released direct-to-DVD and the other is another direct-to-DVD sequel of American Pie (aka “Eugene Levy Needs the Money”).

Frat Party comes from Anchor Bay Home Entertainment and it will be available on DVD beginning December 1st. The film itself will be presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include a director commentary, and four featurettes (“How To Throw A Frat Party”, “Frat House Tour”, “Anatomy of a Scene”, “Get to Know Jesse”).

American Pie Presents: The Book of Love comes to DVD and Blu-ray Disc right before Christmas, on December 22nd. Both will be presented in widescreen, along with English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround audio for the DVD and English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 for the Blu-ray release. No extra material is likely to be added.
