10 Thoughts On WWE Superstars – 12/17/09

Reviews, Shows, TV Shows

First off, apologies for the lateness of this. Thanks to HP creating laptops that will eventually kill themselves, I’ve been offline for a few weeks. But I figure that it’s better late than never with this one.

10. She wasn’t their valet for very long, but I really am missing seeing Eve with Cryme Tyme. (mostly because now she’s been delegated to pointless Diva on Raw).

9. Mike Knox has to be up there with the dullest workers on SmackDown. That being said, he does seem to be improving with his in-ring stuff (though, with what he began with, that wouldn’t be a hard task).

8. That tag match was really disappointing because it served to prove that sometimes people get caught in the cracks and fall through. Cryme Tyme were doing great work earlier in the year, and Ziggler was also doing some amazing stuff. Yet they’re seemingly passed over by WWE at this stage.

7. As someone who hasn’t been catching much ECW lately, from the Vance Archer promo, I’m assuming all he has done is kill jobbers. Every time I actually catch ECW someone kills a jobber. Is there no one to feud with on ECW anymore?

6. So, I’m guessing that Tommy Dreamer is actually fitting the bill as resident ECW jobber? No wonder the rumors are circulating that he’s asked for his release. Dreamer is better than he is being treated.

5. If I were writing for WWE, I would have skipped the recap of Raw this week on Superstars. No one needs to witness that car crash twice. Once was bad enough.

4. And in said recap, the Divas slammy winner was announced before first. Not how it happened on Raw, but a bit of a look into the minds of people within WWE, the Divas are not worth much at all to them. (Which is unfortunate, as not all of them are horrible).

3. There does seem to be a lot less pyro going on.

2. I really do get a kick out of Swagger dropping and doing push ups mid match.

1. Not a horrible main event match, both Swagger and MVP could do a lot within WWE. Maybe next year we’ll see them moved to SmackDown and they’ll both move to main event status. Because on Raw, even with the talent they’re demonstrating, they’re going to linger in the mid-card forever.
