News

ECW on SyFy is a live broadcast tonight, and nothing has been announced yet by WWE officially for the show. Matt Hardy and Evan Bourne will reportedly be involved in “ECW Homecoming” tournament matches, although their opponents have not been announced.

However, Tommy Dreamer, who is leaving the company announced on his blog that he would be on the show tonight, and promised to make it “extreme”:

Here is Dreamer’s full blog entry from WWE.com:

Sometimes you get a Christmas present after Christmas. A former WWE Superstar and Hall of Famer did and so did I. As much as I am excited about Bret Hart returning to Monday Night Raw, next week. Which is a great way to start off the New Year in WWE.

I need to talk about the present. I need to let everyone know that tomorrow night on ECW on SYFY at 10 o clock eastern, will be the last ECW episode of the decade. I am calling upon all the WWE Universe to start a massive internet campaign. If you have ever watched or watch ECW to tune in tomorrow night. Set your DVRs, telll a friend, send emails, do what you got to do to spread the word. Tommy Dreamer is headed to the IZOD Center in New Jersey. I am going to go to the building that I have seen so many wrestling events as a kid. I am bringing my wrestling boots, because I am going to work. I am going to make the last episode of ECW this decade, Extreme!

See you tomorrow
