In the AFC Playoff game on Sunday, the New York Jets defeated the San Diego Chargers.

Final Score: 17-14

Here is what the Inside Pulse Sports Roundtable has to say about this game:

Chad Jorgenson – Apparently Ryan was right, to win in the playoffs you need to run the ball and play defense. They also benefit from Sanchez being able to throw just enough to keep the defense honest. The Chargers have a history of screwing up the playoffs and I wasn’t all that surprised to see them do it again.

Trent Scott – Too dumbfounded for words here. How do the Chargers blow a game like this? There isn’t anything special about the Jets. They should have crushed them, but they let them hand around and then got burned when they decided to convieniently stop tackling at let Shonn Greene go for six late in the game. Blaming Norv Turner isn’t the answer; he didn’t kick a challenge flag, headbutt an opposing player, or miss three field goals. They choked. Plain and simple.

Travis Gehling – The Jets defense (#1 overall in the regular season only giving up 14.8 pts/game) took over the game and the Jets offense scored just enough to pull out the W. This was a great matchup and the Jets will ride their hotstreak into the AFC Championship weekend.

Russ Blatt – I watched this game with my sisters in-laws who are all Jets fans, jerseys and all. I found myself rooting for the Jets for that reason. The Jets played the bend, but do not break defense and it held. After being down only 7-0 at halftime, I felt the game was the Jets to win. They did. People in the house I was at were happy,

Alex Schuhart – Eh, this was a game? I didn’t care who won or lost. I still don’t care, to be honest.
