PWI’s Mike Johnson reports that ROH is suing Ric Flair, claiming that he owes the company $40,000. The suit alleges that Flair no-showed TV tapings and a live event that he was paid for in advance after signing on to be an authority figure for the company. Flair left the company to appear for WWE before heading to TNA earlier this year.
Johnson also reports that there is a belief Flair’s appearances in the company happened because he was hoping to use ROH as a place for his son Reid to work, a plan that hit a snag when Reid was arrested on drug charges last year.
