Chris Jericho & C.M. Punk vs WWE Universe

News

Chris Jericho and C.M. Punk got a great deal of heat at a WWE show in the Cow Palace, San Francisco, on March 14. Fans started throwing things at them, including coins and a battery. Both yelled at security to throw people out and seven or eight people were evicted. It began during Punk’s pre-match promo, when lots of drinks and cups were thrown at him. It got worse when Jericho came out and they started talking to security, which made the fans even more mad. As when similar incidents happened in previous weeks, Edge told fans to hold onto their garbage and let him, Rey Mysterio and The Undertaker beat up the heels.

WWE drew some large crowds in other recent house shows. Smackdown drew 10,000 in Stockton, CA, on March 13th and Raw drew 11,000 in Bakersfield on March 14th.
