Chris Daniels leaves TNA, rejoins Ring of Honor

News

Chris Daniels has chosen to leave TNA for Ring of Honor, returning at last night’s “Big Bang” show and immediately taking issue with Davey Richards over the title best in the world. Below is a video of Daniels commenting on his move.

According to PWInsider, many were suprised to see Daniels in ROH, but this is not a one time deal, as Daniels is already confirmed for Manassas and New York City.

Daniels is one of ROH’s original three main eventers, along with Bryan Danielson, now the WWE’s Daniel Bryan, and Low Ki, now FCW’s Kaval. Daniels, the veteran of the trio, was allowed to use his personality and experience as the company’s first major heel, forming the Prophecy, an anti-respect group in the company founded on respect. He had notable feuds with Low Ki and Samoa Joe that helped carry ROH in 2002 and 2003. Through his leaving the company for TNA and returning in 2005 he became a face, feuding with CM Punk during Punk’s run with the title and finally settling his score with Samoa Joe. Now, he returns once more to the company he helped begin.
