Antonio Margarito returns to a boxing ring this Saturday as part of the main event in Top Rank’s Latin Fury 14 pay-per-view. Margarito last fought in January of 2009 and was suspended for having illegal hand wraps prior to that fight; a loss to Shane Mosley.
Latin Fury 14 takes place in Aguascalientes, Mexico and can be viewed on pay-per-view on May 8. The televised card shakes up as follows:
Antonio Margarito vs. Roberto Garcia
Jorge Solis vs. Mario Santiago
Urbano Antillon vs. Rene Gonzalez
Rene Gonzalez is filling in for the injured Brandon Rios. Also set to be featured on the main pay-per-view card will be Alonzo Lopez as he will fight a six-rounder against an opponent yet to be named.
