EA has announced that, starting with Tiger Woods PGA 2011, each new copy of the EA Sports simulation games on XBox 360 & PS3 (Madden, NHL, NBA Live, & Tiger Woods) will come with a free ‘Online Pass’, which enables all the online features. If you do not have the code, there will be a 7 day trial, and if you want to purchase the online pass, there will be a $10 fee.
This is obviously being done to combat against GameFly & Used Games.
