WWE Smackdown Spoilers for 6/11 with CM Punk, Kane, Rey Mysterio, Jack Swagger

News, Top Story

Here’s what’s on tap for Friday’s show:

Rey Mysterio is out first for a promo, but Jack Swagger interrupts to accuse Rey of taking advantage of Undertaker’s injury. CM Punk is out next to say he might have fallen victim to the NXT Rookies, but he’ll be ready for Fatal Four Way. Big Show is out next to say he’ll win at the PPV and he thinks Kane is the one who took out ‘Taker. Kane is now drawn out and says he’ll put whoever did hurt the Undertaker in The Dead Man’s Casket.

Well, this is a standard huge Attitude Era style opening promo-fest. How good this is will depend on promo quality.

Rey Mysterio defeats Jack Swagger cleanly. Post-match, Swagger attacks Rey, then Kane comes out to take out Swagger.

I’m really getting the feeling Swagger is set up to fail.

Layla El defeats Tiffany. Layla has Kaval and Michelle McCool at Ringside.

Layla is really improving, but needs better to work with than Tiffany.

Christian defeats Dolph Ziggler. After the match, Vance Archer and Curt Hawkins beat on Christian, who is then put in Ziggler’s sleeper. Vickie Guerrero leaves with Ziggler.

Good to see this getting a Smackdown spotlight. Do we have another new stable?

Drew McIntyre announces that after Raw, Matt Hardy is suspended from all WWE programing. He then bullies Teddy Long, only to be chased off by Kofi Kingston. Drew says that Vince McMahon has made McIntyre vs. Long, where if Long loses, he’s out as Smackdown GM.

I hate that Kofi is the transitional one while Matt is the main part of this feud. Kofi is better at everything than Matt.

Big Show defeated CM Punk via DQ. Show went for the mask, which lead to the Straight Edge Society interfering. Kane, again, makes the save, but then chokeslams the Big Show.

Apparently, Kane will save anyone from heels except John Cena.
